Last night Chris and I went to see what was explained to us as a Mexican acustic guitar duo. A Mexican flare and no vocals, not really my thing. To say the least, I was not expecting much more than a fun night out with friends. Boy was I wrong. It was wickedly entertaining. It was two hours of standing (regretably in heels) and watching fast fingered rythmic techniques. The sound was amazing and very unlike anything I've heard.
They are Rodrigo and Gabriela, aka Rodgab. Originally from Mexico, though are now Dublin based. I would descrbe their unique style as rock meets Latin. Click here to learn more
